Instagram doesn’t tell you if you’ve already requested to follow someone and they rejected you.
I’ll sometimes come across someone I know, and then be unsure if I tried to follow them before or not. If so, and they
rejected it, I’m fine with that. But if I try to follow them again after being rejected, just because I have have a shitty memory, now I look like a desperate creep.
