Received a call from a number similar to my own — I answered YES to the IVR enough times to get to a real person. The person said they were with Elite Home Security. He offered to call me back from his personal number (954-803-8199). I didn’t answer and kept talking to understand who the security system provider is. He said it was with Moni Systems (mymoni.com)
out of Dallas, TX.
I don’t know if Moni is working with these marketing firms or if they are happily paying referrals fees.
I get these calls so frequently now that I thought I’d share the experience and find out if others have any tips on tracing and reporting people who do not respect the do not call list.
