This Mac n cheese is the best that I have ever eaten! So creamy and smooth, yet has a nice baked texture and flavor to it! This serves about 12 adults.
12 oz Elbow Macaroni (3 cups)
8 Table Spoons Of Butter
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
8 Table Spoons Of flour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Teaspoon Of Pepper
4 Cups Of Milk
4 Cups Velveeta Cheese
2 Medium Tomatoes (Only If You Want)
First cook Macaroni noodles until tender and drain out the water.
Then Melt the butter in the skillet and cook onion until done but not brown.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper, once the butter is melted in the skillet to make a gravy substance.
Add the milk all at once, cook and stir constantly util thickened and bubbly.
Cut and cube the cheese and then add the cubed cheese, stir until melted.
Stir macaroni into cheese sauce. Arrange tomato slices on top and bake in 350 degrees in the oven around 35-40 minutes or until heated through and has some light brown on it, similar to the picture shown above!
